Pepper and Sausage Penne

3/4 pound smoked sausage, sliced
8 ounces frozen pepper and onion mix
2 1/4 cups pasta sauce
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
8.00 ounces penne
3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
